Franklin Ferdinand and Bertha Rose Loader Nelson:  Frank was born February 9, 1883 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Ferdinand Franz Oscar and Mary Mayhew Nelson.  Bertha was born November 16, 1886 in Pleasant Grove  to Harry King and Annie Pierce Loader.  They were married December 6, 1905 and had five children: Frank Delmore, Harry Elwood, Ivan Elroy, Ruth Bernice and Helen Bertha.

In 1910 and 1920 they were living in Pleasant Grove and their records came to Highland in 1923.  He worked at the power plant at the mouth of American Fork Canyon so it is presumed they lived there, but only for a short while.  In 1918, when he registered for the WWI draft he was working at the power plant.  Frank died March 1, 1958 in Pleasant Grove and Bertha died December 16, 1971, also in Pleasant Grove and they are buried in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
