Historical Society Museum, DUP Cabin Tours & Tractor Display
Making the Past Last
The Highland Historical Society will be sharing Highland’s past by displaying historical farm equipment and various artifacts during the Fling in the Highland Museum located in the basement of the Community Center. Anyone with farm implements or equipment from an earlier era is encouraged to submit them for display in the museum or enter them in the Grand Parade for all to see. If you have stories or information about early Highland, please come share your stories!
The Daughters of Utah Pioneers will be hosting tours of the Historic Pioneer Cabin in Heritage Park. In 1991, the cabin was moved from the Stice property and it is now preserved at Heritage Park. This is a great place to learn more about the history of Highland and what it was like to live 100 years ago.
Historic Tractors will also be on display at the Heritage Park across the street from Noon to 3:30pm.
