Coggins

John Daniel & Norine Whiting Coggins

John was born May 24, 1887, in Cokeville, Wyoming, to John Jack and Clista Jane DeLoney Coggins. Norine was born August 23, 1891, in Alpine, Utah Territory to John Brigham and Sarah Ann Sheppard Whiting (q.v.). They were married March 6, 1908, and in 1910 were living in Highland with her parents (Number 42 on the 1958 Highland map). They had eight children: June Noreen, John Merlin, Arthur Bish, Fern Sarah, Arnold Fredrick and three sons who each died at birth and were unnamed.

By 1920 they had moved to Evanston, Wyoming, where they remained until they passed away - Norine on April 25, 1930, and John on August 22, 1951. John is buried in Evanston [Find a Grave] and Norine in the Alpine City Cemetery. [Find a Grave] [Names in Stone]
