George

William & May Penman George

William worked at the Utah State Training School for many years and lived at the school part of that time but in 1940 was living in Highland. He was born in Tripoli, Syria March 18, 1891, to George and Fraceen George. (That's right-first name George, last name George) William served in WWI from May 20, 1918, to July 24, 1919, being inducted in Kemmerer, Wyoming and discharged at Cheyenne. 

May was born May 6, 1904, in Frontier, Wyoming to William John and Harriet Ann Fearn Penman. They were married January 31, 1920, in Sublette, Wyoming. William was a member of the Catholic Church and also the American Legion. He died December 22, 1958, and she died February 14, 1986, both in American Fork and they are buried in the American Fork City Cemetery.
