William Scott & Ida Billie Cooper McLachlan
The McLachlan family moved to Highland in 1961 where Scott was a real estate broker and mink rancher. Scott was born February 21, 1913, in Taylorsville, Utah to John Lloyd and Jeanette West McLachlan. Ida was born December 23, 1918, in Taylorsville, Utah to William F and Ida Farmer Cooper. They were married August 8, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple and had six children: Scott, Patrice, Mark, Gilbert, Nora and Diane, who died at age four. Scott dies May 19, 1990, and Ida died July 5, 2008. They are buried at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
