Vern Jeddiah & Mildred Long Morse

Their membership records in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints arrived in Highland in 1939 although the 1940 census showed them living here in 1935. Her brother, Robert William Long Jr (q.v.) also came to Highland with them. Vern was born March 25, 1904, to Berkeley Hugh and Doretta Hudson Morse. Mildred was born March 24, 1910, in Henefer, Utah to Robert William Sr. and Rachel Rebecka Danks Long. They were married January 12, 1927, in Odgen and had one child, Donald L. Mildred died April 19, 1975, in American Fork, Utah. Vern died January 24, 1981, also in American Fork and they are buried in the American Fork City Cemetery.
