
Lower Power Plant
Clarence Louis & Agnes Boyd Graham Petersen
Clarence apparently lived his entire life in Alpine except for the time of the 1920 census, when he was in Highland (Number 71 on the 1958 Highland map) working at the power plant. He was born December 23, 1884, in Alpine to Louis and Christina Jacobina Beck Pederson (Clarence changed the spelling), was there in 1900, 1910, 1918, 1930, 1935 and 1940. He died December 25, 1974, in Pleasant Grove and is buried in the Alpine City Cemetery.
Agnes was born August 14, 1882, in Almy, Wyoming to William and Margaret Baird Graham. She and Clarence were married June 19, 1907, in Salt Lake City and had three children: Thelma May, Muriel June, and Virginia. She died October 9, 1960, in Provo and is buried in the Alpine City Cemetery.
Clarence married Doris Edna Forbes December 10, 1971. She also was born in Alpine, December 8, 1903, and died November 6, 1993, in American Fork, Utah.
