Lyman & Juanita Winters Smart

Lyman is another person identified because of his involvement in the Highland Sunday School. He was assistant Superintendent in 1925 and 1926 and a teacher in 1924. Juanita was a teacher 1924 - 25. Lyman was born June 1, 1898, in Georgetown, Idaho to Abel and Annie C. Jensen Smart. Juanita was born July 2, 1897, in Montpelier, Idaho to Francis Martin and Chloe Tippetts Winters. They were married April 30, 1924, in Salt Lake City, Utah and had four children: Lyman O, Ross A, John B, and Grant W.  Lyman died in a drowning accident May 11, 1932, in Cache County, Utah. Juanita died June 2, 1965, in Salt Lake City and they are buried in the Logan City Cemetery.
