Henry Butt & Pearl Hannah Wilkin Street

Henry lived in Number 8, which is not officially in Highland but it was part of the original homestead plat that was called Highland. Henry was born December 20, 1904, in Lehi to John and Martha Ann Whimpey Street. Pearl was born January 30, 1906, in Alpine to Jedediah Grant and Martha Hannah Healey Wilkin. They married April 22, 1925, in the Salt Lake Temple and had six children: Henry Grant, Norma Jean, Pearl Janelle, Mary, Martha Fae, and David John.

In 1930 they lived in Garfield and in 1940 in Magna. They lived in Highland in the 1940s and 50's then moved to Alpine and he was a yearly visitor to the neighborhood because he owned a threshing machine which most of the farmers in Highland utilized.

Henry died October 5, 1977, in Heber City, Utah and Pearl died October 14, 1992, in American Fork. They are buried in the Alpine City Cemetery.
