Joseph Amos & Maxine Faye Downey Greenberg

Joe GreenbergJoe was born April 28, 1928, in Utah to Gustav Amos and Gerda Helena Anderson Greenberg. In 1943, when he registered for the WWII draft, he was living in Murray, Utah. He married Beulah Mildred Goff June 1, 1948, and they had three children: Betty Jo, Ralph, and Walter and were then divorced.

Joe married Maxine on August 21, 1956. Maxine was born in Newport, Nebraska May 31, 1939, to Raymond Harvey and Ada Vinnie Martin Downey. They had six children: Evelyn, William, Mary, Carl, Scott, and Robert. They moved to Highland (Number 99 on the 1958 Highland map - 9735 N. Alpine Hwy) sometime after 1956. Joe had a career working for AT&T. They were sealed in the Temple June 5, 1996. Maxine died January 20, 1997, in Salt Lake City. Joe died in Highland July 11, 2014, and they are buried in the American Fork City Cemetery.
