Ether Lyman & Cornelia Adela Hanks Gerber
They lived here quite briefly - their membership showing up in 1932 and he was a Sunday School teacher that year but by 1935 they were living in Salem and in 1940 were in Shasta, California.
Lyman was born April 17, 1896, in Midway, Utah to Moroni Glade and Emily Jane Jacob Gerber. Cornelia was born November 18, 1896, in Salem, Utah to George Edward and Christina Bergitte Olsen Hanks. In 1917 Lyman registered for the WWI draft as a farmer residing in LaPoint, Utah. They were married February 25, 1920, in Salt Lake City and had four children: Dale Hanks, Ruth and twins Clyde Hanks and Glade Hanks. In 1942 they were living in Murray and Lyman was working for the Utah Ordinance Plant when he registered for the WWII draft. Cornelia died May 9, 1944, and Lyman died September 30, 1985. They are buried at Mount Olivet in Salt Lake City.
