Home of Edward and Marguerite Bunker (c.1941) (Number 33 on the 1958 Highland map - 5935 W. 11800 N.)
Edward McQuarrie & Marguerite Annie Hyde Bunker
Edward was born April 2, 1902, to Francis Neil and Rosannah Cox Bunker. Marguerite was born March 12, 1908, to William Thomas and Emily Jessie Dear Hyde (q.v.). They were married May 13, 1929, and had eight children: Edward, Marvin, Darleen, Kenneth, Eleanor, Doris, Roland and Bryan. Marvin, Kenneth and Doris died as infants and Roland died at age five. They lived in Highland (#33 on the 1958 Highland map - 5935 W 11800 N) for about ten years (1941-51) and raised hay, grain and had a nice dairy herd. They were active in all aspects of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They later moved to Alpine and continued the dairy business.
Edward died June 30, 1957, in Alpine and Marguerite married Francis Abel. She died December 5, 1970, and both are buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. [Find a Grave] [Names in Stone]
