Building Division Responsibilities
Building permits are required before projects to add, repair, change, enlarge, demolish install equipment or systems in a structure.
Building applications will be reviewed after a complete application is submitted with all of the required documentation. Submittal requirements and instructions can be found under Permit Checklist's

Please Note: As of July 1, 2023 the state of Utah has adopted the 2021 IBC, IRC, and other codes. Highland City will require that any submittals after July 1, 2023 will need to be based on the new code standard
