Mountain Ridge Park
A 17-acre parcel of property west of Mountain Ridge Junior High. Based off of feedback garnered from resident surveys and open houses, the design (PDF) includes an all abilities playground, walking paths, restrooms and pavilions, 2 multi-use grass fields, 1 baseball/softball field, 1 basketball court, and 8 pickleball courts.
The sidewalk, parking lot, playground, basketball court, pavilions, restrooms, and pickleball courts will be open by fall 2023. Dependent on funding, the soccer and baseball fields, open play area, potential ninja course, and the walking path will be completed at a later time.
