A water quality advisory has been issued for Highland Glen Pond by the Utah County Health Department.
The Utah Department of Health had issued a temporary water quality advisory for Highland Glen pond due to E. coli bacteria.
At this time, the following precautions are recommended:
- Do NOT ingest the water.
- Do NOT go swimming or wading in the pond.
- Wash your hands after handling water or fish
The Health Department is conducting weekly tests at the pond. The current plan is if the tests come back in the acceptable range two weeks in a row, the advisory will be lifted.
